We created this special beer and artwork in honor of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Recently, we were pleased to discover that many Black craft beer business owners and connoisseurs are HBCU alumni. This includes the founders of Crowns & Hops Brewing Co. (Teo - Howard University & Beny - Spelman University).
Our HBCU Double Dry Hopped Hazy IPA offers notes of citrus, guava, and pineapple with low-to-mid hop bitterness. Brewed with Citra, El Dorado, Motueka, & Idaho 7 hops. 7.0% abv.
