Mt. Brave Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder

The spectacular Mt. Brave vineyard sits precariously above the fog line on Mt. Veeder at around 1500 feet altitude. All work must be done by hand on these thin-soiiled slopes, and winemaker Chris Carpenter & his team of fearless vineyard workers are up for the challenge. He blends in a bit of the classic Bordeaux varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, & Malbec in with 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, and this is Napa at its finest: impressively large and expansive, yet eminently approachable.
