Orlaigh Picpoul Luna Matta Vineyard

Sourced from Luna Matta Vineyard (CCOF Certified Organic - farmed by Stephy Terrizzi) parked in a prime, western, hilly area of Paso Robles at about 1750 ft elevation on a sandy clay loam over calcareous substrate.  The Picpoul went straight to press for a gentle juice extraction and spent about 10 months in neutral barrel with two rounds of battonage to build texture and bring balance to the nervy acidity.  Delicate aromas of apple, ginger, guarana and chamomile compliment the lively palate full of limestone minerality.
