Tschida Weiss Himmel Auf Erden

Grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and crushed by foot. His family's 4th generation, 10-hectare vineyard in Burgenland(more known for reds) supplies the fruit and this is a blend of Weissburgunder(Pinot Blanc) and Scheurebe. He essentially presses the juice and leaves it in 1000L barrels for a year without racking or filtering and bottles without sulfur. The result is a unique and unadulterated wine with strong notes of lemons, herb flowers, bright grape-y acidity, and great texture. A very honest, terroir-specific wine, unique enough to appreciate on its own. Vintage: 2018 Varietal: Weissburgunder & Scheurebe Farming: Organic, Biodynamic.
