Guillot Broux Pinot Noir VdF
The Guillot family has been a champion in organic farming and winemaking for nearly 70 years! Something uncommon for much of Burgundy. Jean Gerard founded the winery in 1978 with his wife Jacqueline and ran it until his passing in 2008. The Domaine is now run by two sons, Emmanuel and Patrice.
This Pinot Noir is a bit of a curve ball! Due to severe loss of the 2021 crop, barrels were at risk of being left empty, which not good for sanitation or the wood. To save the barrels and crop, he used a vineyard he is in the process of converting to organic farming in the Languedoc- Rousillon and brought the wine to Burgundy to age at the Guillot-Broux estate.
