Pilsner

This unfiltered Pilsner combines malted Barley, German Noble Hops & Lager yeast for a California take on the European classic. 5.0% abv.

Lagered for six weeks, this selection of water, minerals, malt, and hops produce a brilliantly clear and crisp beer. A hint of sweetness from Pilsner malt is the perfect balance to the noble hops. 5.0% abv.

Back in the mix! This is a slightly weightier pilsner with a firm hop presence and snappy bitterness while still very crispy. This is an Italian Style Pilsner. Italian pilsners are dry, squeaky clean, and these are usually dry hopped with Noble hops (classic European varieties like Saaz, Hallertau Mittelfrüh, etc.) Ours is not dry hopped but instead receives a hefty whirlpool dosing of “Noble hop”-esque varieties. Zuper Saazer from Michigan and German grown Hallertau Saphir. Still has that essence with snap and crisp. 5.3% abv.

This beer features an heirloom grain variety named Hana that was originally used to brew the world's first Pilsner. Brought back from near extinction by British farmers, we source it from one of the only fields in the world where it can be found today, in Norfolk, England. Our Hana Pilsner is the rhythm section of our brewery and is produced year-round. It represents the core of our house approach and style. Presented as a Pilsner style lager, this heritage barley brings aromatic notes of fresh wholegrain bread, nori, and dried spearmint, along with a long, fresh finish. 4.8% abv.

This is our take of the renowned Bohemian-style pale lager that you might find in Bavaria or the Czech Republic. Ours is a little more golden, rounder, and a little more malt driven than many other versions. The beer possesses strong hop character that is balanced by its rich, round, malty palate. Refreshing and balanced, this beer is a favorite of our winery friends during harvest. 5.0% abv

Our Pilsner is significantly more heavily hopped and at the same time leaner than many other representatives of this style. As with all our beers, we use only select Bavarian aroma hops. And you can taste and smell it, too. Despite the 45 bitterness units, our Pilsner never comes across as harsh or lingeringly bitter, but rather remains harmonious and finishes with a delicate, lingering bitterness. A perfect aperitif that truly whets the appetite. 5.0% abv.
