Hammerling Youth Of The Beast Red

95% Grenache from Siletto Vineyard, 5% Zinfandel from Gimelli Vineyard. 50% was fermented carbonically, while the rest was direct pressed and barrel fermented. It was aged for 11 months in barrel before bottling with minimum effective S02. The goal here was to create a light, fun style of red wine that acts a bit like a rosé, but with more weight.
