Clos Petit-Corbin Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Haut-Segottes

Haut-Segotte's second wine provides a counterpoint to the flagship wine's bold, muscular style. Comprised entirely of Merlot from two vineyards, it is a fruit-forward Bordeaux meant for immediate consumption, without the unyielding tannins of its neighbors.

J Mourat Rouquin de Jardin Pinot Noir - 250ml can

A standout Pinot Noir fromt the south-west corner of the Loire valley. Notes of fresh rosemary, raspberries, and orange peel compliment this wine's strong minerality in a captivating way. When in need of a "solid pinot noir," look for the gnome with the sunglasses.

Cidrerie du Leguer Granit Cider - 750ml

Extra dry Breton pure nature cider from the Cidrerie du Léguer, from the picturesque town of Lannion in the rugged north of Brittany. The apples are harvested there by hand. The juice of the cider apples is spontaneously fermented, without any additives. The Granit is an extra brut, or brut brut as Cédric says. So minimal residual sweetness, nice and tight and fresh, very thirst-quenching. 6.5% abv.

Faillenc Sainte Marie Corbieres Rouge

Remains of a Roman winery have been found at the site of the Domaine Faillenc Sainte Marie, a testament to the ancient tradition of winegrowing at that location. The vineyards face east, southeast and south and are situated about 350 feet above sea level on the gently sloping hills of Pierreclos. The wine is aged in stainless steel in contact with the fine lees but without any exposure to oak.

Fine, fleshy and full of life. Respectfully aromatic. A zesty take on white Burgundy.

Petit Thouars L'Epée Chinon

“L’Epée”—meaning “the sword”—is produced from ⅔ free-run and ⅓ press juice from the oldest Cabernet Franc vines in “Les Plantes” and a small portion of “Le Clos.” Fermentation is left to start naturally in stainless steel tanks, lasting for about 3 weeks, then aged in a combination of steel tank and well-used oak barrels. With deep aromatics, this wine displays a register of spice with an overlay of violets and a core of dark-red and black fruits.
