Verso Brut Sparkling

Made from 100% Glera - the grape used to make Prosecco. Grown in limestone-based clay in Friuli, the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks, and some of the carbon dioxide produced by the fermentation is retained when the wine is bottled. Pale straw color with a hint of green, aromas and flavors of flowers, herbs, & stone fruit.

The Muscat spends a few days on skins at cool temperature before beginning to ferment. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is put into small amphoras and aged for several months. The following year, the wine is bottled together with must of Moschofilero to re-activate fermentation. Unfined, unfiltered and undisgorged to maximize texture, balance and pleasant haziness. Bottling is done entirely by hand, no added SO2.
